Perspective

A teenage girl who has gone through the pursuit and experience of her first "love", might believe it is the end of the world when the love affair is over. The drama and the feelings experienced some times create such huge emotions. She is perceiving this incident from a point of view of her own limited life experience.

The Mom in this story sees the daughter and this experience from a broader perspective and knows that it's not the end of her life but the beginning of time after time of heart-break and loneliness... wait.. just kidding! What the Mother sees from her broader, wiser perspective is that this is just a phase, she will love again and her loss is not the end of her world!

Limitation, frustration...any emotion that evokes a feeling of 'endedness' comes from a limited perspective of what is what, now.

The old saying "Hindsight is 20/20" is right on because after all is said, done and you have moved on...evolved to see from a broader, wiser point of view...what once felt like the end of the world as you know it, is just all about the limits in your own perspective.

Perspective; it is what we see it is. Change your perspective, change your sights!
